Home Midwifery Association HMA views birth as a "family" rather than a "medical" experience and event in our lives, celebrating "births" rather than "deliveries". They run support groups for pregnant women, particularly those planning a homebirth, in Brisbane, Ipswich, the Gold and Sunshine Coasts. They also publish Down To Birth, a grassroots natural birth and parenting publication.
